Changing the cylinder

www.newswatchngr.com/things-you-must-know-about-your-cars-head-gasket/So we started to dismantle the cylinder head to change the seal with Joel, Steven, Polux and BenJ. At noon, Steven paid us the meal. Then we went back to work. Paul took the hood off, Ben was assisting Joel, Steven was doing his papers with his sisters. By dismounting the bolt, a big screw broke, worn by rust and corrosion. We tried to remove it with many means, but nothing to do, impossible to remove. We did with. Then, also broken a small plastic part with 2 joints at the carburetor for acceleration, we'll talk about this piece later *. Otherwise, all went well, Joel to work very cleanly, he did the oiling, he cleaned all the engine, the pistons, the cylinder head, the valves, the radiator.
(The mayonnaise is the mixture between the oil and the coolant that happens in the engine. When the cylinder head gasket deteriorates, the coolant can seep through the gasket and the cylinder head and Mix with the oil and vice versa, so it creates a thick mayonnaise that prevents the engine from working properly, so the 4L consumes a lot of oil and a lot of coolant .)
Then we reassembled everything. We finished at 8pm. The 4L was working, but the small plastic part for the throttle cable that we broke did not allow us to advance on the condition of the repair because during the test on the road, we had only a very small game with the pedal to accelerate from to this small broken part. So we fix it temporarily by shortening the throttle cable. However, overall she was making a nice noise, she was working, then we saw Joel working all day, so we were pretty optimistic.
Once finished putting head gasket sealer, we had a drink to toast this day and many other things. The chef's cute little catch, "Le café de Paris" brut, a sparkling wine. We talked, laughed, hoped ... It was a great time, but good times always have an end. Joel is gone. Given our accelerator problem, we decided to sleep on Bordeaux once again, and the next day, it was early to wake up and find this famous plastic piece in a break, and then leave again. Steven offered to welcome us for tonight at his home. We could not refuse, we did not want to abuse, but with everything that had given us in the day, it was not that that would change.
